Team Control Settings - Minor League roster management issue
1 Attachment(s)
Online league - No coaches - Human players designated GM & Manager
For the longest time, regardless of the setting on the manager options page - to assign the AI to control either minor league roster moves up and down within the minors - to assign the AI to control pitching staff and lineups ...nothing seems to make the AI actually do that. We have players with either OR both set to AI manager and nothing happens. Yet when you try, as a human, to make a move (say moving a SP to the pen) a message pops up saying you do not have the control to do that. Any ideas if there is a setting, checkbox, somewhere that we may have inadvertently checked or set incorrectly? We thought the attached graphic might help, clicking for each minors level? But didn't appear to do anything (plus immpossible to actually tell if this is active or not). ANY IDEAS how we can again get the AI to control the minors when it's selected on the manager options page??? |

The way I read that is you have it set for the AI to controlNON-HUMAN CONTROLLED TEAMS. Meaning, any team that has a human GM/Manager, that setting will not apply to. |
Interesting.
So would your suggestion be to try the setting above? |

The setting above would do the opposite of what you want. I'm honestly not sure what setting you need, I'm only going off of the verbiage used in the settings menu. |
By the way, just as a follow-up, to not leave you hanging if you have a similar issue...
After some experimentation, the circled option above was indeed the solution. The Commissioner clicked and solved the problem of the AI not handling the minors. The trick is that this had to be done at the MAJOR league level and did not appear to do anything separately at lower levels. Problem solved and now when GM choose to let their minor league staff handle rotations and lineups and promotion/demotions, they do actually handle that. Again, no way to know whether this is on/off until you experience an anamoly, but hope this helps. Thanks for the input. |
Thanks for the update! Good to know :)
