Active Roster Stuck on 40 Man
I recently updated to the new patch (20.4.40) and started a game over.
I did a Custom Game --> Real Life League --> Live start. I have a template I loaded in with all my settings that has worked just fine several times now, but for some reason after the patch every active roster shows 25/40 on day 1, and once I simulate a day into the season all the AI teams bring up multiple players so effectively the active roster and 40 man rosters are the same. I double-checked and the settings still show 25 man rosters for the active limit. Even when I try and change it to anything else, the changes don't take effect. Any ideas? |
I'd suggest double-checking when the roster expansion happens. The live start will advance to the selected date, and if that goes past the league roster expansion date, then teams will be playing with expanded rosters. You could always manually set that value back to the same as the active roster if you have gone past that for this season.

Live started on May 17 and rosters are set to expand on Sept 1st but they are still stuck on 40 for the active roster. You can change them but then they won't expand again in Sept. Also you have the option already for playoff rosters. So for some reason after a live update and new league its like it think's its already in the playoffs...

Is anybody else able to replicate this? Is it being looked at? Starting a new league is just not an option until it gets sorted out.

Same problem to and if change to 6 man SP like Chapman becomes a SP.

Hi, this looks like this is a problem if you have multiple leagues selected. It appears to the HH (Honkball Hoofdklasse) which causes the problem up to now, so as long as that league is disabled then you won't have the issue with expanded rosters happening yet.

I usly just delete that league and only happens in first year.
