Error: No Player in change_lineup_defense - Unable to sim
 

Hi all,

I'm playing a game in challenge mode with the Cubs, and I'm getting an error message titled "No Player in change_lineup_defense!" Link to a screenshot is below:

What seems to have prompted this is a trade I completed with the Reds the day before (an off day) for Scooter Gennett. I'm now unable to simulate a game with my team without getting the error message. Clicking "OK" on the error message doesn't close it either, so I have no choice but shut down OOTP in task manager. Strangely, if I play the next Cubs game, I am able to get through the game, but I then get the error message after the game when I try to close the box score. I've checked, and all lineup and defensive positions on my team are filled, so I'm not sure what's causing this. I've uploaded the .dat files with the name of the error massage - any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Thanks, it usually comes in when a team runs out of players in a game. In your case, it appears to be a game in the Ni-Gun league. I believe the simplest solution would be to allow ghost players in the *** settings, as that should prevent the problem. In the future, we'll fix this up so it doesn't lock up the game.
