"No player in change_lineup_defense"
 

Screenshot attached - Got this message at the end of a game... I can click the button to advance past the box score but it doesn't do anything. Not sure if an AI player was injured on defense during the last play of the game.

Is there any way to get out of this or will I have to force quit.

Quite possibly the problem came from another game which simmed as this game was ending. We're certainly clearing things up to prevent this from happening going forward, but yeah, if you can't click through then you may have to restart. I'd suggest going through and making sure ghost players are enabled in minor leagues, since that seems to be the most common times this shows up. Especially the ***/Ni-Gun league has been reported recently.

Thanks for your help. What would happen if I were to run out of players in a played-out game? I've always wondered about this.
