Not seen this in previous versions.

Ike Brown walked, took second on a passed ball; tagged up and went to third; then tagged up to score.

Scored as an earned run, but should be unearned.

What happened with the other batters in the inning?

Yes, if a later batter in the inning got a hit the run would be correctly determined to be an earned run, so knowing the full recap of the inning would help parse the situation.

sorry, only noticed this now. No other hits in the inning. After he walked, three consecutive fly outs.

So absent the passed ball, he'd have ended the inning stranded?

Maybe the earned run logic fails in the specific case of passed ball + scores on sac fly.

Yes, he would have ended up on third. I tried to double check my memory, but I could not find the game again.

But I don't remember a hit. Or more walks.
