New update not working
 

I just downloaded and installed the new update and when launching the game, it lost my license key. Then when I enter my key it says the key was not found on the license server. HELP!!!

I just made sure and downloaded the correct version, uninstalled and reinstalled, and it still failed to find my key on the server. Any ideas?

I uninstalled completely again. Then I found an older version from June and installed that one and it took the key just fine. Next I will download the new version again, install, and try again. Will post my results.

That worked! Must have downloaded the incorrect version. esellerate is the one I needed. I had originally downloaded the fastspring version.

Issue is you likely downloaded the wrong version of the update. OOTP switched recently from esellerate to another company.

Make sure you downloaded the right version. This is from Markus' post announcing the patch.

There are multiple versions of each patch. You have to chose the one that corresponds to when and how you bought the game.
