Game crashing when in "loading affiliate logos" stage
 

Title pretty much says it all. I just bought OOTP20, so I went to create a new save file. It got through the "loading parent team logos" and whatnot, but when it got to 100% at "loading affiliate team logos" it just crashed. I tried multilple times, tried rebooting the PC and uninstalling and reinstalling the game and it still didn't work. I also tried turning off the steam overlay because I saw that in the troubleshooting tips. But, none of them worked. Is there any way to fix this?
