Nashville Predators 1998 Expansion Draft Crash
 

I just finished my 11th season starting with a 1987/1988 historical game, and I am at the 1998 Nashville Predators Expansion Draft.


The game crashes and closes after the final pick every time.


Action:

• Enter Expansion Draft 1998 -> Choose Any option from the drop down action menu in order to complete the draft.

• Game crashes after final pick

Repro rate:
100%


Expected Action:
Draft completes and goes back to other game menu to continue game.




Anyone else having this problem or know of a fix?


Otherwise it seems my career ends in this game now.

UPDATE:

Just to test out the game itself and other potential issues, I just started a historical game with the 1997 season, with all the same settings as my game above, and SIMd the entire season. I did not participate in anything during the season, other than getting my team set up initially with a lineup and captains so the game would continue. I let the "Assistant" Coach handle everything else. I proceeded to the 1998 Nashville Expansion draft, and clicked on CPU Finish Draft, and the draft worked to completion, and the game continued. SO, not certain what the issue is from my game above. Perhaps it's all the data that belongs to my game contributing to the crash??

I would love to continue my game and not have to start over, so I may try a few more things but it seems I am out of luck unless someone from FHM team has a fix.
