Catches over the wall
 

I don't think I've ever seen an OF'er leap up and steal a home run with an over-the-wall catch in OOTP.

Are such catches possible in this game?

Just a few days ago I saw a center fielder run back to the wall and jump for a ball that was about 100 feet over his head. It was funny and sad.

I think there are home run robberies in the game. I play in a stadium with short walls in right and left, there are certainly plays that look like they would be home runs if not caught. I'm also pretty sure players jump to make catches.

I'll say I'm about 2/3 sure they are in the game. Either explicitly or as a byproduct of the normal PbP

I've never seen what looks like an animation of one, nor seen one explicitly announced.

Hopefully as they keep improving the 3D graphics it will happen. One day Kirby Puckett will leap over the baggy and steal one.

I know they used to be in there in the PbP, but the walls had to be under a certain height to be possible. No one made a leap to rob one over the Green Monster... But I have not seen it happen in OOTP21.

I've not seen a robbed home run yet. I also don't always read the PbP, so I can't tell if one was reported.

Speaking of home runs, does anyone ever hit an upper-deck bomb? I've never seen one.
