Build-A-Legend Silver Cards
 

Are Build-A-Legend Silver Cards in packs? You get the Silver Card when you complete the Bronze Lock and Bronze Mission as part of the Silver Unlock. They are virtually useless to buy in the auction house as you will get the free one when you complete the Silver Unlock and then have to sell the extra Silver Card. This becomes an endless cycle for whoever buys it next. I keep seeing them in the auction house but I believe they don't have any value. Or am I missing something?

I believe I heard somewhere that Silver BAL are not available in packs.

I’m quite sure that only the Bronze versions are in packs and then you have to build from there. I expect that you will need all iterations of the players’ cards to advance them (e.g. you need the Bronze and Silver cards of a player to complete the Gold mission and we will need the Bronze, Silver, and Gold to build the Diamond card).

Thanks for responses. I did find that the Silvers are NOT available in packs. I see them in the auction house and feel people are buying them thinking they will need them. I think they should be kept out of the auction house as they have no value other than the rating on their card. They can't help anyone progress towards Gold Build-A-Legends. Well they can but you get in free in the process so buying one is a waste of money. I

You could bypass the Bronze mission by buying the Bronze and Silver level cards and then completing the Silver Mission which (along with the two cards) unlocks the gold card. I expect it will be the same as we progress. Say that you have the Bronze and Silver card for a player. You could buy the Gold card to bypass the Silver mission. You would then have the three cards which along with the a gold mission will unlock the Diamond card.

On the twitch stream Thursday it was very clearly stated that only bronze build a legend cards will ever appear in packs - now and in the future, unless there is some accidental technical glitch.

I've been doing them little by little with no idea if that is a smart strategy or not. I doubt I'll ever have the PP to make a big purchase in the AH, so it's kinda fun. really hoping the end cards are worth it.

I have been doing a few on one of my teams but it is hard to build up to gold right now. I do have about a 15 BaL Silvers built on one team. Yeah, I am hoping it provides a good foundation later.

the silver prices are ridiculous. hope they do a historical pack discount soon (or introduce silver packs)

Also, I should point out you could buy the bAL Silver cards to skip the Silver Unlock. That probably is not smart as doing the Bronze Mission as it is probably way cheaper to do than a Silver Card. The cards also have some value for Silver/Cap Tourney players.

The pack rewards are a nice bonus along the way. I wouldn't do it without them. some of those guys will pay for themselves with lucky pulls.

Hoping we get gold packs for locking the gold players this week, have them all completed and have plenty of historical golds to hopefully get a few upgraded to diamond

I'm hoping we get silver or historical packs. Gold packs are the reason why silver cards are more valuable which sort of doesn't make sense.

Agreed. Having Silver packs for 1500 or so would be great. 2000 seems high for a pack where the guaranteed card has a QuickSell value of 100. That would really help to stabilize the market.
