Automatic trades
 

Hello,

I noticed that some of my important players are being automatically traded in certain situations. The most recent occurance at the start of waivers and the trade is the player for a pick. I think it has happened close to the draft that I had another good player traded for a 3rd rounder.

In the current year alone (2028 in my current save):
4* player traded for 3rd rounder
3.5* traded for 3rd rounder
3.5* traded for 4th
2.5* traded for 3rd
3* traded for 3rd

I don't think this is a normal mechanic that should happen, what do you think here? I can see the trades in my feed when they were completed, but there was no trade initiation/acceptance notification (what you normally see to accept/reject/discuss).

It is continuing to happen for some reason

This time it was on July 1:
3x 3* players w/ 3.5-4* potential were auto traded for 3rd round picks. That sort of thing is super frustrating. At the time of the auto trade I only had 40 players under contract I believe.

Is 'Initiate and respond to trades' set to assistant or to you? If it's set to assistant that is probably why random trades occur.

No - I initiate and react to trades and this setting has always been set this way

Only time I've seen this was when I was outrageously over the cap in the offseason...
