Can't Continue to Next Day
 

Uploaded a savegame file to the FTP site: cant_continue_NJD.zip

Started a standard game with New Jersey Devils, opted to start on July 1st. When simming day by day through the summer, the game eventually stops letting me hit "Continue" to sim to the next day once August 7th hits. This coincides with a Rumor news so not sure if that is related. If I hit "Continue" it will just redirect me back to the News page over and over no matter what I do. I've tried deleting all my messages, marking all messages as read ... just in case it was thinking I needed to read or respond to something critical.

This has happened to me previously with a different save but unfortunately I deleted that one so just have the one I uploaded. For the other time this happened, I'm not sure if it occurred specifically on August 7th but it was definitely during the summer period before the NHL preseason would have started.

Yeah, it's acting like there's something in the news that you need to respond to, but there isn't (and really couldn't be at that point in the season.) The good news is, you can get by it easily by selecting Autoplay Until Next Day from the Play menu. But we'll take a closer look at why it's doing that in the first place.
