Schedule not generating
Hello,
I created a custom game yesterday and have commissioner mode activated. I simulated the first season of the league, but no games were played. Currently, it is July 1st, and before I can proceed a pop-up explaining that no team in the league has a schedule, as well as the league itself. I have attempted to use the Generate Schedule action multiple times, with no success. Could this be related to me editing one of the logo files for one of the teams in the league? Thanks, Pocket_Rocket |
Definitely not related to the logo files. Most likely there's something in the league schedule details and/or league format that's breaking the autoscheduler. If you can upload the save (instructions here) I can take a look and see exactly what it is that needs to be changed for the schedule to get generated.

Hello, sorry for the late reply. I uploaded the file under the name "NAHA 2 compressed file.zip"
Thanks, -Pocket_Rocket |
Looks like there are a couple of problems: the schedule rules are set at 10 inter conference games and 6 inter division games, and 82 total. There are 15 teams in each conference, so at 10 against each team, that'd be 150 games, then 6 more against the 10 teams in the other two divisions would add an additional 60 games. Taking it down to something like 1 inter-conference game and 2-3 inter-divisional games would normally fix the problem, but the scheduler also seems to be having trouble with the league structure, likely due to there being an odd number of teams in each division. If you switch it to 2 divisions per conference (8 teams in one, 7 in the other) and the 1 inter-conference/2 or 3 inter-division rules, it'll generate a schedule properly.

Thank you.
