SGCBL Converts to OOTP 23
 

Solonor's Groovy Computer Baseball League has converted to OOTP 23 for its upcoming 44th season!

Not only that, but we've expanded!

More Minor Leagues
We renamed the current single-A level to High-A, and added a Single-A (or Low-A) league. We also added a Rookie League for recently drafted players that runs from June to August.

Independent League
Added an independent league where free agents and other players not on rosters can have a chance to show their skills and get back to the majors...or to the majors in the first place.

Fall League
Added a fall development league for AAA and AA players to hone their skills.

Fantasy World Classic
Added a tournament of teams made up solely of each nation (race)--Human, Dwarf, Elf, Orc, Hobbit, Other.

Reorganized the feeder leagues
Changed the 2 College and 2 High School leagues of 24 teams each to 1 College, 1 Junior College and 1 High School league, each with 30 teams.

"May" Madness
The College League will go into a 16-team double-elimination playoff at the end of its season for a bracketed tournament to add some excitement to the calendar.

College Development Leagues
In May, there will be a Draft League for college seniors and juniors that will showcase upcoming talent for the June draft. In October, there will be a Prospects League for college freshmen, sophomores and juniors to participate in and develop their skills.

Draft Lottery
Turned on the draft lottery, giving each of the teams that did not make the playoffs a chance to go up (or down) spots in the draft order.
