Chris Terreri instead of Brodeur in Exhibition

I was trying to do an exhibition series with the 1999-2000 Devils against the 1994-95 New York Rangers, and, inexplicably, the Devils started Terreri over Brodeur. It's an exhibition series, so there was no injury or energy problem, and by then Brodeur was making 70+ starts a year. Is this a bug? Is there any way I can make them not play Terreri?
