Lets pass some time folks....

Let's try to guess what some of the features will be introduced this season ? My top three are:

1) A new and revamped development system, that will target a players attributes affiliated to what you want them to work on, instead of Randomization (RnG). Also allowing the managers more control on the direction of the players development. This feature will also help aid your veteran players as they're raw skills diminish to the point of being useless and specialize in a more defensive role for your hockey club.

2) General Managers now feeling the heat! with more player immersion depth. Players will request trades especially with the direction of the organization such as not wanting to participate in a complete rebuild process, not utilizing the roles you promised, constant insufficient ice time, riff with player or the coach & GM etc...

3) Rivalries enhanced as teams go head to head with more physicality as prior game events can spark possible heated matchups with players.

Difficult to guess, but based on what Jeff has hinted at during the Wednesday streams I have a feeling there's some sort of new Custom Mode, new features involving College Hockey, and new additions to trading and contract negotiations.

I really don't understand college hockey getting so much attention, there is much more to focus on than NCAA hockey. I'd really like to know how much of the player base actually plays a college league. I personally only play NHL, it'd be nice if that were more flushed out rather than focusing on that. I do like the trading and contract negotiations is getting some work done. Hopefully the ability to trade for a top 10 pick isn't literally impossible anymore even if you offer your top 5 best players on your team.

They paid for the NHL license and are the only hockey sim with it. I too would hope it gets the majority of development time.

Well, I share my time between NHL and Canadian major junior leagues. So, not everything is at NHL level.

With the last game I actually did a journeyman career where I started with the lowest reputation and didn't leave a team until I won the championship with them. Japan, Czechia, Austria(Well the Hungarian team), WHL, AHL, and NHL were all my stops on a save that is about 15 seasons in now. Plus I really enjoy playing the custom games, hopefully a promotion/relegation structure was added for custom games. International games for custom games would be neat too

Actually, im thinking about to skip this release and wait for next year...

I play mostly on my fantasy custom leagues. So I will be happy if there is new stuff to custom game.

Sometimes I also play european teams and after that comes to NHL. All other leagues almost never.

I also play Custom leagues. It would be great if they had an international tournament option for Custom games. I would also do cartwheels if they added an html output for the game

I agree an html output would be for me the greatest addition.

Or at the very very least a official CSV to HTML converter. But do agree that html output is necessary.

I don't know how many people are managing NCAA teams in the game, but I believe around one third of NHL players played college hockey, so it really needed some work instead of just being an "unplayable" league.

The NCAA is playable, just can't be edited.

Based on what happened with OOTP Baseball, I wonder how many global leagues we will lose.

Zero, unless you want to count a couple of non-playable low-level European leagues that closed up shop recently (and even those are still in at the moment, as it's going to be a pain to extract them and replace their function in-game.) There will be more playable leagues than last year, although that doesn't quite tell the whole story of what you'll be able to play in FHM10. But I can't go into further detail yet.

I'd wager my life savings that we will get an option to disable the annual and monthly financial points system.
