moving teams up
 

One thing I like doing in my custom leagues is to move teams up from the minor league to the major league
The Minor league teams are not affiliated with the Major league teams
I have a rule that only one pro team in a city
If I decide to expand, the Major League and that city is already in the minor league. I renamed the new Major League team with the same name as the minor league team and did not hold an expansion draft for the new team.
Afterwards, I checked the new teams' roster to see how many players from the old team could sign.
I scheduled an expansion draft if the city did not have a minor league team.
