Imported OOTP23 to 24 and faces (and races...) have changed. Update: problem solved - thanks
 

Greetings. As stated above, when I finished the current season, I imported my 23 game to 24. None of the players look the same, and one of the African American pitchers is now white.

Has anybody heard of this happening to somebody else, and does anyone know of a way to fix it?

My advice is as follows:

1. Go over to LansdowneSt's mod page and DL his full FG file (in his sig).
2. After making a copy of the original FG folder in 24, replace it with this one.
3. Then go to the Settings tab and run a full force update.

With any luck that'll get it sorted.

Thanks very much for taking time to reply - and I'm going to make a note of this as it is a good tip.

I came back to the forum tonight to update my post, as the problem is solved. I went to "verify files" on steam, and one of the files was reported corrupted. I uninstalled and redownloaded and when the old season was imported, the fac-gen problem was gone.

First problem like that I've encountered, and I've had every OOTP since 14.

I do appreciate your willingness to help me out with this, and I'm going to check out the instructions anyway, as I will no doubt learn something in case there is a time in the future I can use it.
