Keeping replayed year's stats in for draft?

I'm sure there's a solution for my need but I can't figure it out. I'm looking to replay a season and draft all the teams from scratch and use the real life stats from that season as a reference to draft from (alongside ratings, etc). The problem is that if I go to replay 2004 as an example, for the draft screen I can only filter for "last year" which means 2003 stats. So... if I want to be able to view the 2004 stats as I draft and select the Ichiro who hit .372, how do I go about doing that?!?! Thanks to any who can assist!

2004 hasn't happened yet in OOTP so you can't have the stats. I don't remember the screen but on BBRef there is a way to get it to show all batters for 2004. Maybe that would help you.

Do you have an earlier version of the game as well as the current one? If so, you could set up a 2005 save on the older one and use that as your guide. Otherwise, there is no solution I can think of for what you are trying to do. Other than by using a third party source such as BBRef, that is.

Why are you trying to do it this way? Doesn't starting a new game in 2005 do all the work for you?

Actually, what about trying to import them with this box checked. I've never done so but it reads as exactly what you're looking for, doesn't it?

Seems to me at least worth a try.
