Excited to hear the update on OOTP 25! Is there any update on OOTP Go 25 and when that will be released?

Marcus just confirmed 2 weeks after OOTP 25 release, which is 3/25. So that means 3/29!

Where did you see that?

It was mentioned by Markus in one of his posts. I do believe he wrote a couple of weeks after. A couple means two but is also vague so I wouldn't be surprised if it was a bit later than March 29. I'm not insinuating he is being deceptive BTW, I just feel if he knew an exact date he would have said it.

Got it. It will be interesting how much changes in Go this year. It seems the problem with the app approach is going to be the inability to move games over. I understand why that can’t be worked out but it feels like interest on this board in Go has decreased massively the last year, and that’s the only reason I can see. It’s a great app and much better than anything else available on an iPad (that I know of), but having to start completely over every year is a tough hurdle.

I just hope it works for me. I am still playing the 23 version. After one of 24's updates every time a home run was hit the players disappeared. Posted several times looking for help/suggestion from the devs and never got an answer.

I get the starting over part. When I found the original app based version of the game iOOTP it was the same way so I guess I am used to it. In some ways as awesome as Go is, I miss the simplicity of the past version.

Disappearing Players Fix
 

I just found OOTPGO 24 and loving it! Few challenges on the G Cloud so I hope they focus on the G Cloud with Go. It’s an awesome combo… I was trying to decide on buying seasons or to wait for OOTP 25. I’m leaning waiting.

To fix the blinking player issue: Just turn off fireworks 💥

I turned off the fireworks and still had the problem but thanks for the advice.

I really hope they add the Commissioner Mode in 25 … there are some shortcomings in Go that could easily be overcome with commissioner involvement. On Go, I like to play historical and have found there are more historical errors than on full OOTP.

Idk if helps, but in Go 24, there are advanced settings in settings. You just have to open up the additional options on the bottom.

Ootp 24 removed from app store search results. Definitely a sign 25 incoming.

Yup it is gone. Lets hope it has made it through the Apple approval process. Timing would be perfect for me, traveling all week and I like playing on airplanes to pass the time
