Fictional 1980s Sim with Japanese Players?
 

In my ongoing sim starting in the 1980s I created fictional players. Now I noticed that I have Japanese players with "facial type" Asian. I can sort and find Japanese nationality, but I cannot sort on "facial type". If I am correct Japanese players did not appear in the MLB until the mid 1990s. As for Asian players, I do not know, but I do not think there were many if any in the 1980s. Please let me know if I missed something on finding the sorting file.

Japanese baseball nerd here! Aside from Masanori Murakami in the mid-1960s, no [LEAGUE REDACTED] players made it to MLB because that other league had a de facto reserve clause and no one dared to test it until Hideo Nomo.
There were Japanese players who were ditched by Japanese teams and then tried out for North American clubs, only getting as far as the minors. Can't remember any teams OTOH, but they may be in the DB.

You can always reduce the proportions for international free agents generated by going to League Settings > Players > Intl. Established FA Origin > Edit, and reduce the percentage from Japan.
