Backup no longer loads

Hello!

My game crashes every time I launch a save since the last update.
I can launch a new game, but I can't load the savegame afterwards. :crying:

(FHM 10.4.46)

impossible to make a .zip files of the backup:

Does anyone have the same problem?

Thanks a lot!

Try using a program called 7-Zip to compress your save. You will be given the option to save as a ".zip" if you wish, or you can save as a ".7z"

Ok for the zip file, thanks!

I have upload the file in the FTP : /incoming/fhm/saved_games/20240306-RANGERS_1.lg.zip

This save is badly corrupted, there are a lot of damaged files. However, one of the backups is still good: go into the rs_two subfolder and copy the files there into your main save folder, overwriting the files that are there. It should load and run properly after that.

If this is happening with other saves as well, there may be something that's interrupting the save process and causing the corruption. First thing to check for would be low disk space; alternately, if it's being saved to an online location (e.g. OneDrive), you may want to change that to a custom location on your hard drive (to do that, go to the start screen, then settings, then on the Misc tab set up a Custom Data Path.)

Thanks a lot JeffR! It works
Yes, it's probably due to a lack of space on my hard drive.
I will be able to continue my game ^^ I am in 2038 with +350h of game. I wanted to know how my youngsters were progressing ^^
