Steam link - some pop ups don’t register
 

I lived with this in previous versions, but thought I’d at least mention it this year.

I like to play on my iPad streaming from my desktop. It works great, but some of the pop up windows don’t register on steam link, requiring me to go to the desktop to progress.

For example, if I choose “new custom game” the window asking me if I want Challenge Mode pops up but is invisible on my iPad. I can only see it / hit the button from my desktop. Another example is that I have to disable “confirm substitutions” when playing a game, otherwise I can not make any substitutions from the pad.

Some of the pop ups work fine though (like when I get a private message notification while simming). Any chance this can be fixed? I cant believe I would be the only person that plays this way. Thanks!

Another example - any time you start a new season and hit the green continue button the first time. The pop up asking you if you want to configure it can only be accessed by desktop, not the iPad on steam link.

I play with Steam remote play quite often as well onto laptop and see the same thing with the menus you mentioned. I think I recall a couple of other areas having this problem last year. I will try to track which menus I see it on to make a full list for this year's version.

In a draft (or another list view of players) when you put in a custom view or filter and then try to clear it, pop up asking if you want to save is invisible.

At the end of an Inaugural Draft, the pop up asking if you would like the computer manager to initially set up your team is hidden, only accessible from the desktop.

There are several examples - I assume the code has something in common on all those that is different from the “you have a new private message” pop up that can be accessed through steam link.

Thanks in advance if anyone looks into this. This is not new this year, also was a problem in previous versions.

Found one more - in game base running decisions.

Running international training/practice manually in the off season that pop up also does not show up

Pop up when you ask the AI to fill open development lab spaces

- pop up when you attempt to clear a trade

Since I never got an acknowledgment I do not expect one now - much bigger fish to fry and I may be the only person who uses steam link.

However, since there appears to be a few different templates the development team uses to create in game pop-up messages, if for OOTP26 they could all be of the variety that shows up on steam link you would have at least one person who would notice.

I realize this is almost a year later, but registering that I too have this problem, but now it's far worse. I can no longer use steam link to play at ALL. Which really sucks. Because without cloud and without streaming, I simply cannot play on my laptop.

Could live with figuring out what popup I needed to agree to without series issue, but literally cannot get the game to work at all past load screen. Might be a Steam issue, might be an OOTP issue, but not having the issue with other games and it is very frustrating.

Wish I saw some recognition of the issue here rolling into v26

I thought this originally was just a steam remote play issue and not an OOTP issue but anybody have any luck sorting this?
