Can't continue after 1978 Dispersal Draft
 

I am currently in the 1978 Entry Draft. However, the game will not proceed.

The next pick is owned by the Cleveland Barons... who were just dismantled and no longer exist. Is there any way to force the game to proceed?

I'm not seeing this when I try to replicate it in a historical game, so I'm not sure what's happened there. Do you have historical editing turned on?

Regardless, I think we should be able to manually fix that save for you if you can upload it (uploading instructions here.)

Looks like you had traded that 3rd rounder to Cleveland, and the game didn't delete it properly. We'll have to check why that didn't happen, but there's an easy fix for you: go to Edit at the bottom of your team menu, and then on the 1978 draft list in the middle column you'll see that there's a blank in the 3rd round. Switch that to Minnesota, hit save, and you'll be able to continue the draft.
