Player Tactical Tendencies Resetting
 

Not quite sure how long this has been happening for as I normally set and forget my individual tactics, but I've been noticing that multiple of my players tendencies are being reset to default.

This tends to get frustrating as I notice their game ratings dipping (I'm assuming the individual tactics affect this, and it's not just placebo on my end :laugh:)

FYI - These players have not been traded, called-up/sent-down or sent on the injured list, they've remained on my roster for many seasons.

First question would be: do you have "Manage Lines" set to yourself or the AI?

I have manage lines set to myself. I'm also keeping a closer eye on things to see what may be triggering this.

After simming a few more weeks of my season I noticed that it does keep happening. It seems to happen at random and to a random player or two.

Are you ever using the 'AI setup organization' button from the action menu on the roster? I had been using that for a while to handle personnel issues but then I noticed that I think it amends tactics and instructions each time it's used too. Need to verify it for sure though.

Yeah, using "AI Setup Organisation" would overwrite tactical instructions.

The only thing I have the AI doing is "Scouting" and "Training". I don't let the AI/coaches touch anything else.

It's slightly different than having any of the responsibilities assigned to your staff via the Manager Options page. This one is actually just a single button shown here in this screenshot:

Sorry I should have clarified better, I never clicked the button. I don't like having the AI coach or do anything with my roster.

I think I figured it out though. I typically edit out minor injuries from my roster when they happen (a 4 day injury from a cut chin shouldn't destroy a players fitness :D)

I'm guessing when I edit the injury it resets the players tactics... That's what I get for playing God I guess lol, though I swear this didn't happen in the past.

Oh that's interesting, I can't say I've ever done that before so if that's also resetting something tactically it would be interesting to know. I guess only Sebastian can confirm.
