The Moneyball Union - Openings
 

The Moneyball Union (TMBU) currently has an opening. This league has been going for (edit)20 IRL years and is at the end of its 95th season.


The league configuration is:


Ratings 1-100 (show above 100)
Star ratings on
TCR is at 100
Sims are MWF during the regular season, M-F during the offseason
Several of the owners have been in the league 40+ seasons including myself.

Though I am a bit biased I'll say this is a great league with super core of GMs some who have been there since day one in 2004! But to correct the current commissioner, who took over for me this past season (I was commish for 11 years), the league has been around 20 real life years.

Updating original post -- Long time owner decided to change teams and re-brand Georgia which leaves the Minnesota Lake Monsters open. They have a long history of success and are currently in a good state.

We have just concluded our 99th season and heading into our 100th!

Two teams are open as we approach our final season in v25 before making the switch to v26 at the All Star break sale.

The Blizzard are in need of a good caretaker to turn the franchise's fortunes around. They are in a perfect position for a new GM as they sit with $100M budget and just $13M in contracts on the books for the next season. They also currently have the 4th ranked OSA farm system, but it does lean heavy on the P side.

This is also a team that should look appealing for a new owner as their budget is set at $108M with just $29M on the books and a healthy balance sheet.
The farm system has some talent between 40-100 top ranked. A GM here can focus on strategic acquisitions and player development to push the team into playoff contention.

The league has been around for 20+ years and has a lot of quality core members. Hoping to find some competitive additions to add to round us out!
