College Hockey in Custom Game
 

I've started making a custom world, and wondered how college hockey will operate if I don't import the default league (I don't want the league to act like a regular professional league).


Will college hockey operate in the background? If I import the college default will NHL use it for the draft?


I definitely wish I could add college leagues like OOTP.

If you import it, it'll work just like a regular non-college league. The college leagues in a standard game use a lot of special hardcoding, some of which won't work very well in a custom game environment, so it's going to be a very big project getting the full college functionality added to custom.

Will college hockey run in the background like OOTP if there aren't any added leagues.


IE. The game will use colleges in the database to attach to prospects.


I was hoping to add a lot more college hockey across the US.
