I'm wondering why a game would go long enough for him to hurl 2162.2 innings... If he only gave up 6 hits then that indicates that the LT's or modifiers are so messed up that it took over 2,000 innings to break a 0-0 tie... Given the hits + walks, that's a baserunner roughly every 10 innings... So the other pitcher probably did pretty well over a ton of innings, too...
(I'm also wondering what was going thru the manager's mind when he decided to pull him after two outs in the 2163rd inning. Perhaps Hendrickson had reached his limit of 36,000 pitches? :))
