A perfect team in Perfect Team

I'm in the LCS in my PT and see that my opponent went 162-0 during the regular season and is undefeated during the playoffs, so far. I'm impressed and cheering for that team now, although I have to admit that I've never seen that happen before.

What level is the team playing? What is their run differential?

We were in ST103. The other team went undefeated through the post-season, as well. Could not find the run differential.

162-0 is a fluke, but it's one that I've been shooting for. My best team this year went undefeated in the Rookie and Stone playoffs, but only went 158-4 and 160-2 during the regular season. :o Run differentials were 2105-292 and 2160-240. This is basically breaking the game. If I were strictly playing for the points, I would've been better of calling up an Iron pitcher to lose a game once I maxed out the winning streak bonus. Could have gotten an extra 12-15,000 points that way.

edit to add: This is my final PT25 team, started six weeks ago. Just won the Gold World Series and getting promoted to Diamond tomorrow. Overall record 867-105. Fun things to do when your earlier teams are maxed out, although I do have another team that's making the Diamond playoffs and spent a not-embarrassing week in Perfect League.

That's pretty awesome! I've never had more than 124 wins in a season and have been bouncing between the stone and iron levels.

That's wild!

It's hardly unique. 46 teams have done 162-0, mostly rookie league but 14 in stone and 1 in iron. It's not even too late to start a new team and do it yourself. The guy who posted a while back and said he had 750K to spend could have easily done it.

Only 3 teams went 162-0 in PT24, 2 in rookie and 1 in stone.

Many more have done it in PT24, they stop updating those records, when the new version comes out. Same will I am sure be true of PT25. Once the content stops, it is easy to do, as you just chase the 26 cards you need/want and can ignore everything else.

the difference between the day 1 cards and the now cards is much larger than in other years: so it is actually easier this year than in others

True. Every year, the numbers climb new heights. I'm too lazy to look, but did we ever see a card with 200 contact before this year's HoF Ichiro?

contact rating is completely different this year without power in it, if it was last year's contact he wouldn't be close to it. not to mention the whole grading scale is different this year. you can't really compmare
