Isn't them called Torpedo Bats?

I think OP is talking about the "latest" craze of torpedo bats. However, it confused me because bottle bats were a thing during the deadball era, specially the 1920s.

Correct. I was looking up 'Bottle bats' before I posted and that was on my brain.

But going for Torpedo bats is still a good idea to get players into the flow of things.
