Historical season no draft class
 

I want to start a historical play through. However I couldn’t get it to work in 25 and doesn’t look like it’s working here in 26. Does anyone know how to get draft classes to generate? For example, I want to start in 1988 and have the opportunity to draft Chipper Jones. But no players show up in the draft pool. How do you fix that?

That's more the way the historical mode works. Players start the year they debuted. If you want to draft Chipper you have to start the previous year and advance to the draft

I have now simmed 3 seasons and have yet to have a draft class with a single player in it. I don’t know how to fix this or why I’m doing wrong

Did you purchase all historical seasons?

No. I just purchased the historical season I wanted to start in
