Tournaments - Team Selection
 

I have a couple tournaments in my world.

In a "champions league" style, I take the winners of my independent leagues and have them play a tourney after their seasons.

These tournaments have never had a champion.

They play the 3 games, then it says "playoffs begin", but thats the end of it. No playoffs. No champions.

But it DOES save stats, so I know the results live somewhere.

I compare this with other tourneys in my world, using nationalities to select teams. Exact same setup otherwise, but these national tournaments behave as expected. Tourney games, playoffs, champions.

Whats different about selecting teams manually?
