Expansion teams picking last in amateur draft?

Is this correct? I feel ripped off. I'm trying to grind through the season with some minor leaguers and Kris Bryant (He is half my payroll). :p

That's how it has worked historically, at least for the expansions in the 90's.

I use historic rookies so no amateur draft. However the Rule 5 draft also lists expansion teams at the end.

Thanks for the replies. I suppose we will be in line for a top pick next season at least.

there is a box to check in game setting under the draft rules to allow expansion teams to draft first

You can edit the draft order. I did that for a while on Rule 5 which lists expansion teams last until the end of time.
