Cuevas has decent power and a fairly good chin, he has not been stopped in 32 pro bouts. He has some nice wins such as a 7th round TKO over Charles Murray and another 7th round stoppage over Wilfredo Rivera for the USBO Jr. Middleweight title but at 35 time may have already run out for Freddy. To-date he has failed most of his big tests; losing on points to Kingsley Ikeke, Jermain Taylor and Michael Rask.
