Fought all but two of his bouts in Texas. Beat Wayne Womochil, Tunney Hunsaker, Harold Carter, Al Gonzalez, Sonny Moore, Alonzo Johnson, and Elmer Rush. Lost to Tony Alongi, Alonzo Johnson, Zora Folley, Floyd Patterson (in Stockholm), Elmer Rush (in San Francisco), and Cleveland Williams.
