There must be a story here. Turner beat Al Styles, Luis Federico Thompson, Percy Manning, and Isaac Logart. Then he lost back-to-back matches to Jose Stable and Stanley Hayward, and apparently retired. Neither loss was a knockout. Was he hurt in the Hayward bout? Did he simply decide that he wasn't going to the top, and so decided to hang them up?
At all events, I have rated Turner 8.
Turner is the uncle of middleweight Frank (The Animal) Fletcher and lightweight Anthony (Two Guns) Fletcher.
