VICTOR DAHL MW (1915-1918)
Born - Copenhagen, Denmark
3(2)-6-0; NC
Dahl's won/loss record was not very good: but considering the opponents he scheduled, he could not have expected more. He began his career in his native Denmark by losing two twenty round decisions to Dick Nelson and knocking out Danish heavyweight Johan Ekeroth. He then moved to the American Northeast for the balance of his career.
In America, Dahl fought a pair of ten round no contest bouts with future heavyweight champ Gene Tunney and Augie Ratner. He lost a ten round decision to Ratner, a twelve round decision to Johnny Wilson, and was stopped by Wilson and George Robinson, whom he had earlier out pointed over ten rounds. Given his ability to hang in there with such stiff competition, it is a wonder that Dahl didn't pursue a lighter opponent path.
