Ridley was the three-time Pacific Coast Featherweight champion. He beat Jimmy Dundee, Charlie Moy, and Frankie Dolan; drew with Al Walker, Billy Mascott, Danny Edwards, Joe Gorman and Vic Foley; and suffered defeats to Foley, Babe Herman, Billy Wallace, Doc Snell, Tod Morgan and Danny Kramer. In 147 pro bouts, Ridley was stopped three times, one of which was his final match.
