RAY "Windmill" WHITE CW (1958-1974) Overall Rating = 3
Hometown - Los Angeles, California, USA
41(11)-14-5
California State Light-Heavyweight Champion
White began fighting professionally in December of 1958, losing two bouts and winning his third in July of 1959. He then took a five and one half year lay-off, perhaps for military service. Upon his return, he was KO'd in the third by Archie Ray in January, 1966. Following that, he had a relatively successful and busy career finishing 40-11-5 and capturing the California LHW belt. He lost a bid for the NABF LHW title to Jimmy Dupree in 1971 by decision.
White beat Eddie Bailey, Bobby Rascon, Koroseta Kid, Chuck Hamilton, Lino Rendon, Charley Austin, Frank Niblett, an aged Roger Rouse, AJ Staples and Sonny Moore. He drew with Hildo Silva and lost to Mike Quarry, Johnny Griffin, Hank Casey and George Johnson. White was stopped twice, once after the five year lay-off and again at the end of his career.
