My memories of him go back to Hawaian Eye, but my wife tells me I'm older than dirt. The boxing background and interest is evident in the roles he played and the old battery commercial he did. "Go ahead, knock it off." I'm pretty sure he had more bouts than the one listed in boxrec. I'll root through my RRB's.

Anyway, Dad and I must have watched nearly every episode when the show came out and were both in shock when they pulled the plug on Pappy and the Black Sheep Squadron after such a short time.
Once again, thanks for bringing up Robert Conrad Bear! He has always been a favorite and I had had no idea that he boxed.
