Kid Alaska worked on various Alaskan railroads during the 1890's gold rush. He may have come from Montana or Washington. Boxrec credits him with three bouts, one of which took place after he allegedly died in a railroad accident. He is said to have fought in the first officially recorded match in the Alaskan Territory in 1902 at Rampart City. He defeated Sam Barber with a 20th round KO that day. He is credited with a 15 round KO loss to Charley Johnson in 1893 and surely had other bouts along the way that have been lost to history.
