From 1951 to 1961, Anahuac was 51-21-5 with victories over Otilio Galvan, Raul Solis, Luis Castillo, Cecil Schoonmaker, Manuel Armenteros, Gil Cadilli, Billy Peacock, Auburn Copeland, and Ricardo Moreno. He lost a ten round decision to Victor Manuel Quijano for the Mexican FW belt in 1957 and was stopped twice in his first ten years in the ring.
As so many fighters do, he hung around too long; assembling a record of 4-12-2 from 1961 to 1965 including four more stoppage losses.
