In the mean time, here is an interesting New York featherweight. <a href="http://www.boxrec.com/boxer_display.php?boxer_id=009398" target="_blank">Ray Meyers</a> fought from 1930 to 1934. Despite not knowing how to spell his last name, he beat Oscar Goldman, Charley Nelson, Koli Kolo, Honey Mellody, and Frankie Covelli. He lost to Joe Ghnouly, Freddie Miller (twice), Miki Gelb, and Lou Ambers. Meyers ended with a record of 33-8-5 (8). He was never stopped.
