In first fight in August 1991 was KO'd in the 4th round by Adilson Rodrigues in a bout for the South American HW title. Garcia came back not till May 1992 to record his first win, a 6 round decision over Luis Centurion who was fighting for his first and only professional bout. Then came a string of 10 more losses, 6 he was stopped in, 2 by disqualification including losses to Jose Carlos Da Silva twice, Oscar Gonzalez, Marcelo Duarte, Edegar Da Silva, Jose Abel Gonzalez twice, and Mario Melo.
In December 1995 he defeats fellow Paraguayan, Ignacio Monzon Zarza(who would go on to post a sparkling 0-16-0 record), in a 12 round decision. These two meet again in May 1996 to battle for the Paraguayan HW Title. Garcia picks up the 3rd win of his career stopping Zarza in the 6th round. After that Garcia is Ko'd in the 2nd round by Mariano Ocampo in December 1996 then fights only 1 time each in 97, 98 and 99, stopped in all 3 fights by Fabio Moli, Marcelo Dominguez and Ocampo again. After being Ko'd by Ocampo in June 1999, Garcia is out of the ring till January 2003 when he gets knocked out in the first round by Edson Cesar Antonio. After another year layoff he's disqualified in the 6th round in a bout against Juan Ferreyra in January 2004 and then looses a 6 round UD to Mariano Ocampo in July and a 2nd round KO to Manuel Pucheta in October 2004. Garcia's last fight was 2nd round KO to Luis Ricail in september 2005.
