While autoplaying through several seasons of a fictional league built from the full universe of default leagues (MLB+Internationals), I encountered the following error in September of the 3rd year of simming:

Billings has an illegal number of pitchers(less than 3) on the active roster(25).

Checking their roster, Billings only had 1 pitcher. They were in the playoffs.

I had to manually add 2 pitchers to the roster to complete the season.
