Because it generates reports "on the fly" and not in advance, when you click on a link in an external browser, the file, in fact, is not there. When you're in IE, it can't fire off the game logic that creates the new page.
One workaround is to run a full set of league reports prior to playing or prior to when you want to use the external browser. Then at least a copy of each file would be there to be opened. (I haven't tried this though.)

Ahh, I understand this now. So this isn't a "bug" perse. It's the design. Hmm, well that make me feel a bit better knowing that it's not a bug. I hope Markus looks into it but really, it's not that big of a deal compared to other things that are going on.
One thing I gotta ask though, when Marc was releasing the "TRTR" reports they were all HTML reports and they didn't do what they are doing know.
