This is a real step back if we can't have real minors in this game.
After three frustrating season setups for historic, I finally dropped back to a completely fictional setup. I'm noticing far fewer bugs and problems.
I'm sure the Lahman import is a real pain to bring into this new game and it probably was not tested as much as it should have been.
I can live with fictionals until the many patches that will be needed for the historic.

Since the game now requires full rosters for minor leagues (no ghost players), you're going to have fictional players. If you want to make sure there are now star players among them, drop your creation modifiers. Take a look at the settings for Tiger Fan's 1901 quickstart league for an example of this.
