I checked and most minor league teams have between 30-35 players on the rosters...not 75(and some teams had as many as 89!!!). Clearly something is not working the way it should. In real life, player dont get years and years in A-Ball to see if they will pan out....most get between a year to year-and-a-half....
Anyone have suggestions as to what can be done or the issues involved with this?

See that's the problem...not all TEAMS are represented. Usually a team will have two to three R level teams to accomodate the large numbers of draft picks. Many players never rise above R Ball. But if yuo have enough draft rounds that would normally accompany 5-7 minor league teams, you will experience the roster overload you are now.
