I'm not sure if this has been documented yet. The game I just finished had the winning pitcher also get credited for a save.

As you can see, a save would not have been in order and there were only 2 pitchers, Vasquez who played into the 9th and Hermanson who finished it off.

I'd also like to add that the issue with removing injured players from the 40 man roster need to be addressed. If I have a player sitting in AAA who has a season ending injury, I should be able to place him on the 60 day DL to remove him from the 40 man roster, as of right now I cannot do that.
