How 'bout I change the minor-leagues' start dates during the next "pre-season" and THEN import the schedules I am using for my league? At the moment there are no imported schedules: I renamed a few of the historical schedules as per your advice in that other column and the game now does a fine jos of seeking them out in the \schedules folder and using them. Is your suggestion now that the schedules have to be actively imported into the import-export folder after I re-set the minor-league start dates? Can I import a short series (5) of such schedules without unduly taxing the game? I would presume so, but see my note above about computer logic . . . .
Okay, you have a handful of schedules named to fit your league configuration in your schedules folder. At the start of the preseason, yes, set those start dates as you want them then go to the Schedule Editor screen and import one of those. Back on the League Setup > Options screen under schedule options it should show the name of the imported file. Then after you sim through to the next season the next schedule file in the list you put in the schedules folder should show up there at the start of that next preseason.
